Clopress Description
Clopress is in a class of drugs called tricyclic antidepressants.It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression.It is used to relieve symptoms of depression such as feelings of sadness, worthlessness, or guilt; loss of interest in daily activities; changes in appetite; tiredness; sleeping too much; insomnia; and thoughts of death or suicide.
How to Use Clopress
This medication is generally used once or possibly twice daily. Dosage is adjusted for each person according to medical condition being treated and medical history. Follow all directions exactly and take the medication as directed. This drug is best taken on an empty stomach at the same time each day. Do not stop taking this drug without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse when the drug is abruptly stopped. Your dose may need to be gradually adjusted.
Clopress Side Effects
Side Effects are blurry vision, constipation, difficulty urinating, dry mouth, fatigue (problems with fatigue may be reduced by taking Elavil in the evening or at bedtime), sensitivity to sunlight (Wear sunglasses, protective clothing, and sunblock. Do not use sunlamps or tanning beds.), and temperature sensitivity (avoid saunas, jacuzzis, and exposure to extreme cold).
Clopress Interaction
Clopress is a central nervous system depressant, and should be used very cautiously in combination with any medication that warns it 'may cause drowsiness,' or increases your level of alertness. Over the counter medications and herbal supplements should be checked with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure about the safety of using them while taking Amitriptyline.
Clopress Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly.
Clopress SR overdose is characterized by the following symptoms: Drowsiness, Very deep and long sleep, Nausea, Vomiting, Extreme decrease in the size of pupils.If any of the symptoms are present and overdose is suspected, immediately seek emergency medical attention.
Clopress Missed Dose
If you happen to miss a dose of Clopress SR, you can take it as soon as you remember provided that it is not yet near the time for the next dose. However, if it is already near the time for the next dose, just entirely skip that dose you missed and proceed with the next scheduled dose and resume normal dosing after that.

Store at room temperature between 15-25 degrees C 59-77 degrees F away from heat and moisture.

Store the product at room temperature away from light and moisture.Do not store in the bathroom.Keep all medicines away from children and pets. It is not known if this drug passes into breast milk.
