Ocuvir Description
Ocuvir is used to treat herpes infections of the skin, mouth, mucous membranes, genital herpes, herpes zoster and chickenpox in some individuals.
How to Use Ocuvir
Take medication as soon as symptoms appear. Take this medication as directed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. Try to take the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. This will ensure a constant blood level of the medication and is most effective.
Ocuvir Side Effects
Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways.Loss of appetite, nausea,dizziness or weakness. These effects should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become worse, inform your doctor. Ocuvir Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Ocuvir Precaution
Before taking Ocuvir, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease. Limit alcohol intake, as it may intensify drug side effects. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the drug. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. This medication passes into breast milk. Breast-feeding is not recommended while using this drug.
